Gosh, it’s been awhile. Am I still thinking?

Gosh, it’s been awhile. Am I still thinking? I must be. Been thinking a lot about what it means to put your neck out. I notice that everything that you say can and will be used against you these days. So you better at least be nice. And you should be anyway. Matt Groening once said that all of his underground artist friends were out there angrily telling it like it is and yet the public didn’t really want to be exposed to their venomous rants. He realized that you needed to sweeten the message up with a little humor to make a difference. Oddly enough, since The Simpsons is on Fox, his big difference went directly into the coffers of Fox News which helped kill hundreds of thousands of people in the first decade of the millenium. Oh, well. What are you going to do? Anderson Cooper, a proud and honest journalist from a prestigious American family (The Vanderbilts) has a television show now that you can also see on Fox. I just can’t help but to see his paycheck as blood money. Fox News has spread so many lies over the years it’s not even funny. It’s disgusting, in fact. At least a lot of people have figured out that these clowns are not really journalists but clowns disguised as journalists; disgusting clowns disguised as journalists, but clowns disguised as journalists nevertheless. I know this because I minored in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno.  Oh, well. What are you going to do?

I’m really not against making money though. In fact, I am starting to believe more and more in it. Why? I’m broke and I have three bad teeth that will cost $2,100 to fix. I spent a good portion of this morning at my coffee house reading up on how to put adsense on my blogs. I figure if I can write several blogs then I can have adsense ads and then I can write for a living or, if not for a living, then at least for a surviving. That would be pretty good for me. I’m all for surviving.

I’ve been looking back at the blog posts here at moronamerica and realized that everything I said here in the past few years is finally being said in the mainstream media because a bunch of others who also look into what’s really going on insisted upon it by standing up and saying “enough bullsh*t.”  My hat is off to these brave people. Everything they stand up for comes from what they have researched (and there is a lot to read that is not the product of a bought and sold outlet).

I notice that when you read the New York Times, a newspaper that tries to stick to the truth of the matter, you rarely come across a conservative opinion. Why? Modern conservative opinions are fantasy and the New York Times doesn’t deal in fantasy. I imagine conservative people don’t read the New York Times or else they would learn a little bit about what is actually going on in the world.  So far, no go. Oh well. What are you going to do?

Anyway, I admit that a lot of the hooting and hollering from the left stems from a sense of outrage and righteous indignation. I think this condition is unhealthy over the long term.  This is why the protests are breaking out in the streets. Why must us educated Americans die of stress related illnesses because the uneducated masses want to believe in fantasy renditions of what is going on in the country paid for by corporations disguised as persons disguised as journalists? It’s not worth it. I imagine that everybody who has protested has been released from a great burden in a way. The truth has finally been released into the world and now it’s on the world’s back to figure it out. The corporate overlords disguised as persons have to try and figure out how to make the truth a lie again and a lie a truth. I have no doubt that they will succeed. They are paid a lot of money to succeed. Lots of man hours going into the project, man hours with good pay, a recipe for success. And all the truth has is a bunch of rattytatty people (by now) in parks being called stinky trash makers who stomp on flowers for fun. If I was a PR major out of Barnard I would have a field day with this. Fox’s blonde brigade is going crazy on it already, with their Dick Cheney snarls and subtle yet secret promises of wild, wild sexual relations if only you buy the crap that they’re selling. Oooh, Cindy, yeah, let’s get back to you…those bad, bad protesters…Oh well. What are you going to do?

And all the while the world wonders whether the George W. Bush clone Rick Perry will be our next president. He does seem to have all of the credentials: testosterone, racist tendencies (hunting anyone?), an obvious bought and soldness sure to make any conservative feel safe. The war and oil sectors aren’t out of the game yet. Will we do a double doopsidoodle into utter moronity once again? Stay tuned kids to find out how dumb we really are.
