Change is Slow but Possible

It’s not very often that I have to point out moronism among the American left. For the most part the left is right about, well, just about everything. Why? Because they’re liberal. They’re willing to try new things. They’re not entrenched in the ways that don’t work simply because they’re highly profitable to a select few who can afford to pay for the continuation of the rightist philosophy of f*ck’ em and feed ’em beans.

The right will sock you in the face and you’ll smile and ask for another. Why? Because they’re strong and don’t you forget it and you won’t. You want a strong leader. Freedom isn’t free. What else? Hmmm. Here, take my wallet, please.

We have the Wall Street protesters out there saying that enough is enough. We are not stupid people, but our national dialogue is paid for stupidity. Must we lose everything while we watch Kim Kardashian’s ass? No, they say. No.

But beware the monkeys. Wherever there is movement towards perceived justice within society new groups are formed. The Wall Street protesters are one such group. It is a peaceful 99 percent, despite the bullshit that went down in Oakland.

When I saw the footage of the cops beating the kids in Oakland the first thing I thought was, oh boy, you shouldn’t mess with the kids from Oakland. Some of them are very serious about their anarchy.

They don’t give a f*ck. It’s the lifestyle, and the Oakland cops poked a stick in it, but that doesn’t make it right to throw a rock through someone’s window. That’s what happened to one business owner who was interviewed by a reporter. She couldn’t understand why someone would do this to her.

She said she supported the 99 percent, that she was one of them. And she is. And some proudly anarchistic-leaning kid broke her window anyway and made that woman have to consider being a part of the 99 percent something she would have to prove in order to be safe. Just like the folks in communist Russia had to do.

This is what happens when violence is introduced into a non-violent movement of civil disobedience. Everything get’s all messed up and confusing. This is not to let the police off the hook for inciting the riot, but the retaliation is viewed as a new morality puzzle for those vote-posting Americans  blinded by the right’s billion dollar psychological operations.  It’s like mixing a little Satanism into Christianity.

The Wall Street protesters are better off just sitting in the rain. Their message is being heard. Why? Because it’s true! Everybody senses that they are right, although  Fox News keeps us from accepting it as true. Everybody knows.

All the protesters have to do is sit there and say it over and over and over. It’s the longevity that matters. It is the power of the hunger strike without the hunger or the death. Sitting peacefully in honor of truth trumps war romanticism, which leads to window breaking and possibly more, by a million miles. Change is slow but possible.
