Just watched the most inane video of a police officer (sic) pepper spraying about 20 students sitting on the ground at UC Davis. From what I understand, this was on the campus itself in an area designated for free speech.
So this police officer (sic) comes up to the kids, he shows everybody in the crowd the can of pepper spray like he’s a magician or cool or something, and then walks down the row and casually begins spraying the heads of these fellow human beings and true patriots of the United States of America (as opposed to himself, who although he may have at times believed himself patriotic, is actually a human piece of sh*t, an oddity, a freak).
Of course I’m angry. Everybody should be angry when our society allows its pit bull to attack the children who were taught year after year about the greatness of this country, but when it came down to it were told “just kidding.”
Where were the university officials, the supposed “professionals” at fostering conversation and the spread of ideas? Why wasn’t the chancellor or the president standing in front of that cop/*sshole and saying “pepper spray me first!”
Well, I’m sure that these university officials could have been anywhere else, making all the money they do, yet why were they not insisting on an America worth the expense of our children’s college educations?
We have lied to our children. They are the freshest out of the indoctrination of public education and therefore the most likely citizens to end up at the end of a cop’s trigger thumb. The vision of our founding fathers is clearest in these young minds who still believe in America the Beautiful.
Therefore, to be fair to these students who suffered pain for America, we should immediately institute new teaching points at all levels of education:
1. There is no need to go to school, because it has nothing to do with the outside world.
2. Your government is a scam despite what it says in your government and history books.
3. Free speech is an illusion.
4. Nobody, not even professional educators, believes in what they are teaching.
5. History is history and better left where it is, because the university needs the moneyhoney.
6. Abolish the notion of the possibility of there being a Christian God in American society (therefore abolish your philosophy and religious studies departments) for these kids are the modern Jesus and I just don’t think it’s worth it to see them harmed like Jesus was.
7. Before you go into the administration offices, look at yourself in the morning and say: “I’m an American. I take money out of a good job. I will put aside all of my beliefs so that I may proceed through my day without threatening my comfortable situation. If it comes down to it I will side with those who will use force against free speech, even though i am a professional educator, because it will make it so that I myself will not have to confront these forces of evil, evil because they espouse violence where self-defense is unwarranted. I will forfeit all of my learning so that the alpha males on the other side of the equation don’t train their sites on me. I will get by. I will let students take pepper spray in the face and I will approve. I am an American.”
