woke to the snooze button

i’m just hopin’ for the best these days. it’s obvious that the other team doesn’t give a whit about reality, even if they hear the truth they will block it out so things like the fact that Trump took 7.8 million from foreign entities while he was president mean nothing to them. nothing to see here, folks, the Republicans say, nothing to see here and then the next minute they are on the news talking about Hunter Biden’s laptop.

it’s mad. it is simply mad. and it comes from people allowing themselves to lie to themselves. it’s all good they figure. they’re on a trajectory and it’s going to be rough like this, morals don’t matter all that much until we get to the new utopia to which we are currently flying so don’t rock the ship, don’t notice that you are sniffing around H. Biden’s laptop and jockey shorts while your boy, Trump, just took 7.8 million dollars, while in office, from foreign entities. that’s a lot of government for sale, but you better watch out, maybe Hunter took more drugs than we knew!!!!!

Poor guy. Glad he’s fighting back. I know very little about his case because I know what the Republicans are doing. It’s just another little soldier formation that they come up with because they are smartnu. And will always be smartrnu. The end. Fin. Kaput. it’s hard when you are always wrong. me? I’m always wrong. it’s tough. now they got names for people like me. they call us “woke” when there are two definitions of “woke.” Woke originally was when your eyes were opened to injustices in the world. Being aware of any injustice can now have you be called “woke.” It’s an insidious ploy and so stupid that the perpetrator of the technique, on the playground, would be rhetorically ripped to shreds by the other children for trying to attempt it.

To call someone evil who recognizes an injustice is just about as low as you can go and tells us all what is really most important to you: yourself. You would sell all of us down the river, eliminate all help for your fellow man just so that you can take control and finally rest, rest into yourself, the image of yourself and everything will be put into place: meh, meh, meh with twists of the shoulders and flip of the eyes and the lip. My world. My world and my world is for those who are funding my world and all this “woke” stuff is no good for the money people who help me, who believe in me, who allow me to bask in my own beauty and finally breathe out and just relax: meh! No. No. No!

the no people. just chuck them in with the gun people and you have a big old mixture of “harunmph”. How lovely. What about the governor in the midwest who turned down money for food for hungry children, unless there is something I don’t know, which is possible, this sounds silly. I think the guy said something like he is against “welfare” or something. Great, a governor who is not interested in the welfare of his people, who thought the word “welfare” was a catchall for all low shenanigans involved in playing the system, welfare; we don’t accept welfare. We earn all of our money, while those kids still don’t eat because this guy’s boss, his donors, want a third house on a third golf course, this time with horses for the girls.

it’s mad. i mean, it’s free money from the federal government. why not take it? why not accept it? we usually give away thousands more percent away to the ultra rich in tax cuts whenever a Republican becomes president. why not just take a little nibblet from the federal government for the children, a little token of its appreciation that all is not shit in the world, that some things still exist, like common decency and a little concern for those who are downtrodden. why not? Nope. No welfare. Making a stand. R’ U’ 4 the tax cut, guvnah? you betcha, we’re gonna see it all the way through and the family without the food notices, notices as their burpless stomachs make do on lower quality food, take one for the team.

we certainly are good people, us Americans. and i’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free…hungry, but free. but, thank goodness we aren’t in a total shithole of a situation. we can eat. we can go to the grocery and buy food. despite the midwestern governor there is “welfare,” food stamps, medicaid. we haven’t totally gone blind as a society. what’s troubling is that the same people who proclaim themselves “Christians” do things that go against Christ’s teachings. the Republicans’ own Jesus said to feed the hungry. Is there some code there that I don’t understand?

Woke. To think. Just wrinkles my rankles a little bit too much, to blame good people for being good. Blame them for being good. Oh, everything good to you leads to evil. Your existence leads to evil. Meh. Meh. Meh! There there my Republican friend, there there.

Onward, and to continue, the other way is “woke” in the sense of oversensitive, a whole different meaning of the same word, two different meanings. Bill Maher hates this woke, but he keeps spouting off the word while not being aware that a whole subsection of the audience is hearing the word in its other form, that of knowing injustice when you see it. Maher, a champion of justice over the years, simply doesn’t understand. It’s weird. I’m not a Bill Maher basher. I appreciate how his was the probably the strongest voice against the Iraq War that we had. That took guts. Now, if he would just come to understand the difference between the meanings of the same word “woke” he would be on a great path.
